For one night only, fashion throws a high­end street party in London’s west end. Vogue asked Territory to create an app to help people navigate the event.

Fashion’s Night Out was conceived in 2008 as a shopping initiative in times of economic uncertainty. FNO, held annually in cities worldwide, sees a vast selection of mid to high­end retailers throwing a fashion street party late into the evening, offering promotions and in­store entertainment for one night only, just before the Spring/Summer worldwide fashion weeks in September. To help shoppers navigate the evening’s festivities, Vogue asked us to create an app that showed all the participating stores and the events from each location on the night. The app integrates social media to allow revellers to share and discover offers and experiences. All stores were geotagged on the map and professional editors could be followed via various feeds on the night.

To allow for uptodate information on the store activities we created a content management system so they could add their details, logo and event information right upto the last minute.

Out and About

To capture the special, vibrant atmosphere in and around the event we documented the night in a short video. Over 10,000 people enjoyed the music, drinks and special offers that for one evening, allowed the fashion world to open its doors to an adoring crowd.
