How to be Human

When Territory was asked to create film logo, title sequence and map graphics for director Bruno Centofanti’s powerful short film, we were impressed by the scale and vision of this 12 minute indy.

An original science fiction narrative that tells an intimate story of how humans have to become machine-like to survive in an AI dominated world, we wanted to reflect and support the underlying story. Against apocalyptic landscape shots, momentary glitches of digital interference in the clean and minimal typographic treatment of the title sequence represent the constant surveillance and data processing of artificial intelligence. Culminating in the film logo, an inverted ‘A’ moves at odds with the Human word form, reflecting the fate of mankind as our characters deliberately shed their humanity to survive.
