The Role

Directly influence design outcomes of projects that will define the future direction of new industry paradigms across Digital Product - including Automotive, Gaming, AR/VR and beyond. Work as part of an awarding winning multidisciplinary team with encouragement to grow professionally as a designer. Working with world class designers and artists - 3D, Motion, etc. will enable you to bring concepts to life.

 

ROLE: UI Designer

REPORTS TO: UI/UX Director

LOCATION: San Francisco, CA (Hybrid working, onsite and remote) 

CONTRACT: Full-time, Exempt


Job Description

Territory is searching for an experienced visual or UI Designer who is looking to grow their responsibilities and experience across new and challenging projects. With a love for systems, codification, and organization, plus a knack for knowing instinctively what the client is looking for. Clear and concise communication with the internal team and client will be key to success, along with a hands on approach.

Most immediately, you’d be working at the cutting edge of UI, helping drive the future of an industry that is in the midst of a complete paradigm shift. Working directly with the client and internal teams to define design directions; taking responsibility for the UI in execution and delivery.

 

Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years working on non-traditional UI platforms and digital products beyond web and mobile experiences in a digital agency or similar environment - this must be shown in work samples to be considered for the role.
  • Familiarity with HMI projects, automotive/transportation experience is a major plus.
  • Great internal communicator; translating client requests into tangible design solutions to be shared with team
  • Happy to build presentations and clearly present work explaining rationale and process.
  • Experience with the latest tools, especially Figma, Sketch, and Adobe CC.
