Broadcast branding is always extremely rewarding and requires very close collaboration with in-house teams to ensure the creative delivers on all levels – from brand and editorial to technical. Firstly, we needed to design a system that wouldn’t distract viewers from the information being conveyed, whilst staying true to the channel’s news remit. It was also vital to ascertain upfront that the execution would work not only for broadcast, but also studio projection and across Al Jazeera’s digital platforms.
