Ramsey Tech

Territory designed a tech-heavy operating system for British computer hacktivist Ramsey. This involved crafting visual elements and styles to showcase powerful UI, capable of synthesizing large amounts of data and extensive intel for the F9 team to use during pivotal moments in the storyline. Cool dark blues with orange accents add personality to the high-tech UI, featuring bespoke geographical content built and layered from scratch for authentic visualizations. These include maps and satellite images relating directly to narrative story points.

ARIES Sequence

A complex animated sequence was created to highlight Project ARIES, a dangerous weapons program capable of controlling all of the world’s state-of-the-art computers and advanced weapons systems. This detailed sequence showcases the catastrophic global effect of ARIES when its two halves are joined together, an important moment to underline F9’s main plot point.

Phone GPS

UI needed to be modular and flexible while still showing the appropriate amount of data on different devices. As a result, highly detailed satellite images featuring photorealistic terrain were created for use across all F9 team screens. These comprehensive visuals were generated from scratch, with matte painting teams providing extensive clean-up of elements in satellite reference material. Shadows on objects and structures matching location and time were added to bring authenticity to the visuals. This is showcased on the RED Hydrogen One phone featured extensively throughout the film- a portable GPS device giving team members direct access to Ramsey’s hi-tech satellite views.

Car Dashboard UI

Everyday in-car UI was created for regular automobiles, basic interface controls juxtaposing the complex OS used by the F9 team.
