We’re really proud of our staff at Territory Studio. Even if not directly involved in the awesome work we deliver to our clients, we each appreciate creativity and being creative, in whatever format.
If you’re here, you’ve probably already seen our work. Now we invite you to get to know us better. Starting with our creative teams, we’ll be asking questions and sharing not only TS project work, but personal creative projects and what really inspires us day to day.
Pedro Ramos – Motion Designer
“I’m inspired by my colleagues on a daily basis. Their dedication and commitment to the craft is staggering, which really makes you want to push yourself as an artist “
– Pedro
Tell us a bit about you:
I’m from Badajoz, a small city in southern Spain, and moved to London in 2014, where I worked for a couple of agencies before joining Territory last year.
During my spare time, I try to work on personal projects, go out to take photos and also enjoy cooking.
Who and/or what inspires you creatively?
I’m inspired by my colleagues on a daily basis. Their dedication and commitment to the craft is staggering, which really makes you want to push yourself as an artist, learn from those around you and share the little you know to try and contribute to everyone’s growth as much as possible.
Outside of work, I’m inspired by a great number of films, the work of other designers, photographers and music, which is key to putting myself in a certain mood/mindset that can spark new ideas.
What’s been your favourite TS project to work on so far and why?
Brave New World, because I have been working on that project for most of the time I’ve been at Territory and I’ve had the chance to integrate with the team relatively quickly thanks to that.
Also, I’ve worked on a lot of assets on the project, which makes me feel really connected to it.
Brave New World
The show isn’t out yet! So we can’t show our work just yet. In the meantime, here is the official trailer for episode one:
Why did you want to work at Territory?
The type of productions the studio has always been involved in and the quality of the work they produce had caught my attention for some time, so I decided to approach them and see if I could be part of it.
Where do you look online for some creative inspiration/headspace?
I really like the work of @raoul_marks and @gmunk and love the photography of @joshjack and @spicy.meatball on Instagram.
When it comes to blogs, I try to visit hudsandguis.com, planetaryfolklore.tumblr.com and motionographer.com regularly.
Also the painters @markmaggiori and @jeremyispainting are worth following.
