Territory’s San Francisco team worked with Crystal Dynamics to create title sequences, UI and holographic elements for game play, as well as compelling end credits in Marvel’s latest action-adventure game.

Territory was briefed to design UI matching complex technologies and operating systems in the game’s futuristic high-tech environments. The team designed operating systems for different factions in the game such as S.H.I.E.L.D, AIM and Stark Technologies. Unique screens and floating holograms were designed with 3D depth and transparency in mind. UI built with interactive elements are also featured on everyday objects such as computers and phones, adding another layer of authenticity to the gaming experience.
The screen graphics pipeline also included a memorable end credit homage to Marvel’s iconic superheroes using bullet-time GFX to powerful effect. A gallery of images inspired by Golden Age comic-books feature old school 2D effects that wrap an adventure inspired by over 80 years of Marvel history.
