The Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library, a new monument and museum in North Dakota dedicated to detailing the historic life and legacy of the 26th US President, recently opened to major national attention. In preparation for the museum's opening, the team at Redglass Pictures tasked us with creating a projection for a physical full-scale model facade of the White House for a permanent exhibition. The core of the assignment was to design the appearance of the White House as it historically stood in 1901, simulating detailed light and shadow to add depth to the construction, and crafting the beginning and end sequences of the exhibition's focal video loop.
