Territory worked with Netflix to craft hi-tech screen graphics for the superhero comedy, Thunder Force. Tasked to design motion graphics that extend across multiple screens and devices featured in the film.

Stanton Lab

UI was created to match different technologies and operating systems used by an advanced scientific research facility dubbed Stanton Lab. Data consoles and medical scanning equipment showcase animated schematics such as DNA sequencing, cross-sectional images of the body, and brain scans. An important sequence features Melissa McCarthy pushing buttons in the lab’s injection room, inadvertently injecting herself with a super power serum. Precise motion graphics tie into story beats during this complex scene, UI created to support and achieve comedic effect.

Miscreat Mission Control

Thunder Force features supervillains dubbed Miscreants, enemy forces whose headquarters required high tech UI to control a bevy of advanced technologies. 3D Lidar data from on-set locations led to detailed point-cloud data visualisation of key buildings in the storyline, while unique and functional interface graphics were built for an extensive number of screens in mission control.

News Screens

The creation of graphic interfaces extended to monitors, computers, tablets, and phones – UI generated for everyday objects. Different graphics packages were further developed for two separate Chicago TV News Channels, while Fortnite gameplay sequences were recreated on iPads for added real-time authenticity.
