We were honoured to be asked to create the ident, from concept to execution, for the inaugural Future Of Film Summit, in London. Amongst many Territory collaborators (Claire Fleming, Alex McDowel, Haz Dulull, Pulse Films etc), our Co-Founder and ECD, David Sheldon Hicks was amongst the panelists. We created teaser assets for their event promotion, together with a brand new ident for the event, which was held on 26th November 2019, at BFI Southbank.

The Future of Film ident concept took reference from the world of film cameras, lenses and astronomical imaging units. The minute physical and graphic details seen on photographic hardware coupled with the scale and vastness of space allowed us to create a glimpse of a future optical system in another world. The 3D animation was composited with real lighting elements to bring a natural lens effect to the fore.

Bringing alive unexplored worlds and stars, the ‘future of film’, much like its past, is captured through telescopic and film lenses, to give viewers the sense of timelessness and endless opportunities.”
