Beginning with a brief to visualise ship concepts, Territory worked alongside Virgin’s design lead and naval architects to bring an initial business proposition to life for the corporate investment teams. The original animations explored the opportunities across the ship and helped develop the physical expression of the ship as the brand developed and helped achieve buy-in from investors. Territory then went on to help Virgin Voyages design team develop concepts to fully detailed visuals, building on CAD structures and design intentions for the range of spaces across the ship.
Visuals were both used to achieve signoff from the board and later as marketing images on website to create a true understanding of the ship’s customer experience. Marketing launches again used Territory to creating highly detailed CG animations of the ship’s customer experience across all the internal and external environments.
