Territory partners with GMC to refuel truck UI design
Read MoreWorking in close collaboration with General Motors’ key stakeholders, we refuelled the UI design of GMCs Sierra trucks from 2023 and beyond, defining the animation language and transitions for the interface, resulting in a visually impactful and seamless experience for drivers. The unique, and cohesive visual language for GMC included the 3D vehicle visualisation of the truck and gimbal, illustrating real-time pitch and roll angles. All designs were integrated seamlessly into a motion reel and presented alongside a slick welcome animation that forms a connection between the driver and the brand.
Through a process of workshopping, brand consultation, and creative development, we devised and created 3D motion graphic brand animations that are displayed to drivers across the instrument cluster and central console displays. Here the GMC logo, built out of red light and liquid metal forming over the classic typeface nods to the tradition of precision engineering and automotive manufacturing.
