LIV Golf returned to Territory for the 2023/2024 season refreshing the look and adding a host of new elements. A new title sequence featuring each of the 13 teams, several new stings and transitions, and expanded on-screen graphics flesh out each day of play.A bespoke set of elements for the 2023 Miami Team Championship, and even a second package for the new Club 54 pre/post show round out the offering. The result is an entire broadcast package with a vivid and dynamic presence to further set the LIV Golf tournament apart in the golf world and expand the sport’s reach to a younger audience.
Club 54 - the LIV Golf Pre/Post-Round Show
Club 54 is the new pre/post round show bookending each tournament. LIV Golf wanted a totally new look and feel for the show package – something that speaks to the younger audience. Territory responded with a highly-energetic set of elements starting with a striking opener and followed up with several transitions and stings that deliver the party vibes.
2023/24 Season Graphics
On-Screen Graphics
The animation integrated graphics into the live-action such as tracers and visuals for wind strength and terrains. These components uplifted traditional on-screen graphics into high-level 3D designs. Neon widgets displaying player information in real-time meet the needs of immediate data and bring audiences closer to the game. Our design allowed for a more accurate score, introducing augmented reality visuals to predict, in real-time, where the player needs to aim.
Broadcast Package
The creation of the broadcast graphics began with the main title sequence and set the tone for the style and colour scheme of the entire package. Vibrant colours and eye-catching 3D designs provide an exciting prelude to a competitive play. Presenting a unique edge to the LIV Golf brand, our team of artists created neat, animated transitions – including wipes and stings. Additional title sequences, dynamic team leaderboards and new ways of displaying player information were developed to enrich the package.
One of the many joys of working with Territory is how they match creativity with detail. Designing for sport requires a clarity of information for the viewer, especially for a new playing format such as LIV Golf. Combining their deep experience in UI/UX, gaming, esports and even feature film, they delivered a distinctively electric motion design approach for LIV Golf’s first season. I am hugely excited to see where we can go next…

International Series
Following the broadcast package designs and on-screen graphics, the global International Series Championship brand gained a refreshed look with cutting-edge aesthetics, including the design of a smooth interface, a new colour palette and an updated typography. A crisp revision of the International Series logo was part of the visual rollout.
We are thrilled to have created such a sophisticated broadcast graphic package for LIV Golf. Applying our cross-industry knowledge of UI and UX to live broadcast graphics has been exciting. Understanding what information was more relevant to display in order to generate dynamic on-screen data, was one of our main challenges. Collaborating with the talented team at LIV Golf, we succeeded in achieving innovative and youthful designs.
