Character Aesthetic
To guide the animation look, we worked with Blink Industries’ Animation Director, Michael Marczewski, who described the desired aesthetic as a retro-future feel – a future that viewers could see for themselves and relate to. To achieve this, we designed environments that feel lived-in and created natural moving characters.
To produce the shots, we worked with a specially built pipeline comprising of Maya for character animation, Redshift ACES + C4D for environments and animation, flowing into a Compositing pipeline. The overall look of the sequences delivered is vivid, minimal, and expressive illustrating visions of the future as described by several expert contributors.
