If you’re here, you’ve probably already seen our work. Now we invite you to get to know us better. Starting with our creative teams, we’ll be asking questions and sharing not only TS project work, but personal creative projects and what really inspires us day to day.
I’ve always been fascinated with VFX, UI, Animation & Motion Design. I quickly learned how many of my favorite movies Territory Studio has had a hand in, and being a part of the team was an opportunity I couldn’t miss out on.

Tell us a bit about you:
I’ve always been fascinated with VFX, UI, Animation & Motion Design. In 2016, I graduated from the University of Cincinnati’s School of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning with a specialization in Motion Design. I moved out west to pursue a career in Motion and Animation, soon after finding a home with Territory Studio SF. I love breathing life into concepts.
Who and/or what inspires you creatively?
I’ve always been inspired by the intersection of film, games & animation.
As a gamer & lover of beautiful storytelling, I find myself captivated by unorthodox narrative or beautiful games like GRIS, Hollow Knight, Limbo, and Firewatch.
A lot of my creative constructs surrounding Motion & UI design have been inspired by the likes of the greats: Ash Thorp, GMUNK, & Beeple.
How long have you been at Territory?
About 3 months & 3 years with Territory Studio SF.
What’s been your favourite TS project to work on so far and why?
I’ve got a few projects I’ve greatly enjoyed, but as mum’s the word on those, I’d go with Mile 22. Working on both pre-production and post-production screens I found the experience both challenging and rewarding. Ultimately, I found that nothing beats seeing something you’ve worked hard on, on the big screen.

Why did you want to work at Territory?
As a Sci-fi & Action film fan, I quickly learned how many of my favorite movies Territory Studio has had a hand in, and being a part of the team was an opportunity I couldn’t miss out on.
After meeting Marti Romances while on a project in LA, I found myself immediately engaged with Territory Studio. Marti’s passion, transparency, dedication to craft, and world-class work spoke volumes to TS’s values and thus inspired me to join the team. Being surrounded by such incredible people has helped push me to new heights, and I’m incredibly thankful for the experience.
